We stayed at Bellagio this summer, induced by the special introductory rate. We're hooked! In fact, we are about to return for our second stay, again on a special rate.
The hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are really nice, even at the bargain rates. The bathrooms are marble, with large showers and a separate tub. We didn't have a view, but we were so seldom in the room that it hardly mattered. The casino is spacious--more so than Caesars or Treasure Island.
There are several restaurants and other eateries in the hotel. We only had one real meal in the hotel, at Cirque O. The food was really good, as was the bread-- but the meal was pricey and the servers had real attitude. Also, if you want to be seated near the window overlooking their fountains, you'd better make a reservation or tip the hostess well. They weren't too accommodating, even at 6pm, hardly their dinner rush.
If you plan to see Cirque de Soleil, better get tickets early. We didn't and missed out. Guests of the hotel can get tickets when they make their hotel reservations.Everyone else must wait until 30 days prior to the show they want to see. We were able to get tickets for this coming trip--we've heard it's worth the ticket price ($110)
We went to the gallery which is nice and well worth the admission. But don't be surprised by the small number of paintings. It is a gallery and not a museum, as it is promoted.
I worked out at their gym, which is a pretty nice facility--but be prepared to pay the $25 guest fee.
Also, it is worth becoming a member of Club Bellagio. We did, and have received a number of promotional offers in the last several months.
