First of all, technical difficulties again. That is a tad annoying. Sorry about filling up out here.
Secondly, this opinion is written two ways: Hard Rock Casino and Hard Rock in general.
The casino, come on, Show Biz has more games. Luckily the floor is not very busy and it is relatively cheap to play. I shoot craps and they had one table open with three people at it (and I was one of those and another one was with me). As far as casinos go, this is not a gambling mecca. There is hardly any fast paced excitement to get your heart going. If you are looking for a nice calm evening though, this is a great place. This is a great place to gamble to get away from gambling.
On the other side, I am a guitarist in a band and I thought that I was in heaven seeing all the memorabilia. Guitars from celebrities. Reading about the concerts to come and the concerts that have gone. What I would not have given to be there when the Eagles opened it up. On the music front, Hard Rock far from disappointed me. And yes, the casino games had a musical theme to them right down to the chips.
The verdict-- visit it, see it, play it, but don't stay there. It is far away from everything else and yes they offer a free shuttle, but with traffic, it runs less than predictable at best. There is no other casino near the Hard Rock as of yet. Maybe someday they will build something closer. Who knows? I personally recommend staying in the center of the action on the strip. Please, definitely put Hard Rock on your wonders to see, but a gambling wonder to be it is not.
