Inexpensive but Nice

Pros:Inexpensive, but located next to the expensive hotels
Cons:Slow elevator
My friend and I chose the Imperial Palace on a recent trip for several reasons. When I searched the Internet for an available hotel, the Imperial Palace was rated with several stars. When I called for reservations, the clerk was extremely helpful. The hotel was located within walking distance of hotels and casinos which were much more expensive. We felt very safe (two women) in the hotel and the hotel room was very secure. The restaurant and snack bar were easily accessible from our hotel room and the food was very good and inexpensive. The entry into the hotel part of the casino was located so that you didn't have to walk through the entire casino to get to your hotel room. Our overall experience at the Imperial Palace was very good. The coupon book which they gave us at check-in contained coupons for several free meals as well as passes to the Antique Car Museum which is located on the premises. We both enjoyed the Museum and would recommend it to others. We would stay again at the Imperial Palace and have recommended it to friends and family. The only bad part about the hotel is waiting for the elevators which seem to operate in a "slow mode."
