Pros:Nice, friendly, economical, great location
Cons:Didn't let me keep the Champagne fountain but 1 day
I visit Las Vegas several times a year. On one recent visit I stayed at the Imperial Palace.
Not a huge high-rise high stakes gambling casino, but more like a fun, friendly place to stay for couples looking for a good deal for the buck.
Imperial Palace is an older, smaller building (compared to those new giant casinos) but I guess this is why the service is a lot better than most. The atmosphere is a little different, even for an Asian theme.
If you’re like me you have seen over the years that Las Vegas has become ruder by the day. Trying to build Giant elaborate casinos to lure you and your money seems to be the answer for the rudeness factor. But Imperial Palace seems to have remembered the age-old rule, Treat your costumers well and make sure they have a good time. Maybe this is why the long success streak Imperial Palace has shown.
Check in is fast and efficient, the rooms are clean and comfy, nothing elaborate. And let's face it; most people only use their rooms for a shower and quick naps anyway. Room service is quick and good, and the casino personnel are great! The dealers actually remembered my name and were friendly and chatful.
Even when I "BORROWED" 1 of the champagne fountains from the restaurant and took it up to my room via elevator, they were quite nice about it. Maintenance even brought me an extension cord since I had to leave it in the hallway because it would not fit through the door of my room. (DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS AT HOME AND DO NOT TELL MAINTENANCE WHAT THE EXTENSION CORD IS FOR)
Located right in the middle of the strip IP makes a convenient place for those of us who like to walk around allot.
All in all, Imperial Palace is a great place to book your next visit if you want to stay at a friendly economicaly priced establishment.
