I stayed at the Imperial Palace when i first went to Las Vegas. So the first time I thought "hey this hotel is pretty cool. Well this was back in 1987. I think the imperial should be renovated. The Imperial has the best hotel site on the strip, right in the middle. The service was pretty good also. However the hotel rooms could use some improvement. The i think the imperial probably has the slowest elevators in all of las vegas. The casino could also use some lights, little darker than most casinos. The pool is fine. Nothing to really get excited about. Make sure you don't get a room with a view of the back, like the apartments behind it or they could be motels. And the buffet is allright,but i feel that way about all of the buffets in vegas. All in all not a bad hotel but if you have a choice, go for the luxor or ceasars.
