Imperial Palace

Written: Jan 20 '00 (Updated Mar 08 '00)
Pros:Location
Cons:3.5 stars, but not your 4 star penthouse

First of all, I am having technical difficulties for the past few weeks trying to write this opinion so I just put it in this field.

I must admit that it is not a ritzy as the Bellagio, or as big as the Luxor, or as epic as the Excalibur, but the Imperial Palace offers a few great things:

1.) Rooms at a very reasonable price for those of you who are not going to be comped everything during your stay. It makes a great place to stay for those tourists looking to blow their money on the table and not the room. Yes, the rooms are cozy, but at 23, I am not able to travel first class as of yet; however, I never felt second class staying at the Imperial Palace. I had a warm welcome, nice service, and a clean and cozy room.

2.) Location says it all. Smack in the middle of the strip, Imperial Palace, located directly across the street from Caesar's is in prime location for visiting all the casino's. All the casino's are on the strip are within walking distance (or the free tram to the MGM) and down town is a bus stop away. It puts you right in the middle of the action.

All casinos in Vegas offer cheap food and free beverages for the most part. Imperial Palace is no different. I am not a millionaire and I did not leave one, but Imperial Palace offered me a comfortable room at a prime location on one of the most famous strips in the world.
