I have visited most of the casinos on the strip but I still would choose the Imperial Palace. The prices are very reasonable( sure i would stay at caesars if i could afford it) and it is clean. the location can not be beaten. it is very centrally located and we are able to walk to most places we want to go. i love being right across the street from caesars and planet hollywood and right next to harrah's. we gamble in other casinos but always end up back at the imperial. it seems like they have more machines available and we win as much there as any place else. plus, i can not stand wall to wall people like there is in harrah's. the imperial has several good restaurants and some good shows. there luau is highly recommended and they have great impersonations at the legends show. the only complaint i have is that where they have added on (which is where we stayed last time) in the back is like a separate hotel and you have to change elevators to get there. it was under construction and i was told that was going to be remedied. if you have never been to las vegas and don't know exactly where to stay then i recommend this hotel because you are right in the middle of everything.
