My husband and I checked into the Imperial Palace during Easter weekend. We were a little leary of our stay there because of some uncomplimentary opinions written by others. To our surprise we found our room to be very clean and spacious located on the ninth floor. A king size bed and a nice size bathroom was just right for us and a little balcony too. Everyone there was kind and courteous. We ate at the buffett several times and the food was good and the selections adequate. I especially liked the big luscious strawberries with whipped cream always available.
I would recommend the Palace to everyone. It has good rates and is located in the center of the strip. We took the Grand Canyon bus trip and had a great time. It took the whole day but was worth it. The bus picked us up right at the hotel and dropped us off after. The only things we did not like about the hotel was the long distance it took to get to our room. If you want to call anyone outside of the hotel but in Las Vegas, such as airlines, shuttles, etc. use the house phone located by the pay phones. You will be charged by the hotel for each use of the phone in your room.
