...then choose The Imperial Palace. It is not true you get what you pay for because we have stayed at beautifully clean hotels for the same price. Our hotel room at the IP had stains in the carpet, burn holes in the bedspread, ripped-off wallpaper, and an overall dirty look to it. What a disappointment after staying at The Golden Nugget for the same price and getting a room that made me feel like a princess. Yes, the IP is located around the cheaper casinos and cheaper eats, but so is the Nugget downtown. Avoiding this hotel is worth the cab fare to take from downtown to the strip to see the sights. And I say all of this after winning there too!!
