Cheap but Good

Written: Jan 10 '00
Pros:Inexpensive, in the center of the strip
Cons:one of the uglier hotels

The Imperial Palace is a great place to stay if you are not looking to spend all of your money on your room. It has most of the same games that the larger casinos have and good service from the servers and bartenders. But it is on the smallish side as far as the table games go, and as a result you may find it hard to play.
By far the best feature of the Imperial Palace is its location. It is on the strip right across from Caesars Palace and located in between Saharra's and the Flamingo Hilton. Also the two cheapest places to go, O'shea's and the Casino Royal, are less then a block away, so you won't have to go far for some of the best places to spend your money (O'shea's offers all drinks at $1.25 and Casino Royal has $.25 tables). All in all the Imperial Palace is a GREAT value.
