My and my fiance (we got married while we were there) went to Las Vegas in June of 1999. My decided to stay at the Luxor as it was included in a package deal. We got a great deal.

The hotel is breathtaking. The main entrance into the pyramid as water fountains/waterfalls with huge pharaohs (great place to have your picture taken). I couldn't believe it.

We had 2 choices of places to stay in the hotel. We chose the pyramid. The other is the tower. I thought it would be neat to look out from there and it was.

As far as the room goes it was large but quite a walking distance from the elevator (which by the second day of walking all over the strip this became important).

The other downside was the location of the hotel. It is on the end of the strip, which means if you plan on walking down the strip wear comfortable shoes.

The casino was comparable to all the other ones we went in while our stay in Vegas. We mostly played the nickel slots.

When we go back we would stay there again and I will take better shoes.
