We visited with friends in late July (2008). We booked a suite and our friends had an adjoining regular room. Our suite was really nice - trendy color theme with nice bedding and a nice sofa, one full bathroom and one half bathroom.

Our friends room, which we could enter through an interior door, looked like a totally different hotel. The bedding and lamps were really dated and it was pretty worn looking.

We were told our rooms would be ready between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. and while our suite was, when we entered our friends' room a little after 5:00 p.m., it was still dirty from the previous occupant. To the hotel's credit, they came and cleaned it immediately and offered our friends a $50.00 credit at the hotel's cafe. Unfortunately, cleaning the room didn't include picking up all of the french fries that the previous occupant had left on the floor!

We enjoyed the casino, which is roomier than some others, and the hotel cafe, which lacks atmosphere but has really, really good food (we ate there twice). We were very disappointed in the pool area, though - it's a lot smaller than it looks on the website and is very crowded. Construction going on adjacent to the pool made is especially distasteful.

Check out was quick and accurate and, again, the staff was excellent.
