Elegance & Style

Pros:Elegant, Value, Loose Slots
Cons:Thin walls in guest rooms
I have been staying at the Monte Carlo since it opened in 1996. It has consistently been one of the best upscale hotels in Vegas. The Decor is very elegant and understated. There are no fountain shows or talking statues here but they don't need the gimmicks.
The decor follows into the rooms with soft colors and marble baths. Room service is quick and very high quality. Walls are a bit thin here though so you may be bothered by hallway noise.
The casino never disappoints me and usually a few hours per day playing here pays for my stay. Blackjack dealers are some of the nicest on the South Strip. Dollar slots here payout well.
The brewpub is excellent for a quick beer and burger or steak. There is also a food court for a quick meal while gambling or morning coffee. Nearby is a Tram that goes directly to the bellagio which is a great convenience!
NYNY, MGM, Excalibur and Luxor are all close by.
Room rates can be had for as low as $39 off-season. Average I have paid is $79 per night on the weekends. This does jump quite high during spring and fall. Plan a midweek trip for summer or winter to get a dirt-cheap stay here, you will really enjoy it.
