Logitech C615 Webcam is undoubtedly one of the high-tech must have webcams in this digital world. It is a High Definition webcam that supports video conferencing, 1080p video recording, and a 720p video calling ideal for facebook, skype and other social network chats. The webcam is of aesthetic appearance, high design and optimum functionality. This Logitech C615 webcam sits on a 360 degree rotating base that also moves back and forth allowing pictures to be taken from all angles. If you have a desktop or your laptop doesn’t have a webcam then worry no more because Logitech C615 is all you have been looking for. One thing I love about this webcam the most is its size. It is rather small making it convenient for handling and mounting it into a PC. I often carry it around comfortably when I am going to spend a week or two away from home. It comes with an inbuilt mono microphone with a noise reduction filter that makes the sound quality clear with no static interferences.
Its pictures are exceptional and of high quality, brightness and contrast. A single shot takes an 8MB photo with an option of interpolation which is just amazing. This is enhanced by features such as high optical zoom, face tracking and lens auto focusing. Although this Logitech C615 webcam tends to overexpose white color when pictures are taken in the light, the picture quality still remains high and clear. In dimly lit areas, you can manually set the webcam to reduce exposure and increase picture gain thus enhancing the picture quality
Set up and installation
The Logitech C615 webcam base has crew holes for mounting into a tripod. I never expected installation to be that easy and is compatible with both Mac and PC. I inserted the CD on the computer drive and followed the wizard instruction and in few minutes in was over.
