My boyfriend started playing bass about 2 1/2 years ago, and he loves it. So it was natural for him to want Bass Player Magazine for a subscription and he is so happy with it. He looks forward every month to getting it.
His favorite section each month is the Learn to play article. Each month, Bass player magazine features a new song to learn. This really helps him learn to play better and all different styles of music are offered during different months. He has learned a lot by just subscribing to this great magazine.
Many times, the magazine features bass players from some great bands such as Jane's Addiction, or even Nicki Sixx from Sixx am and Motley Crue.
Looking at this magazine also lets him see what new basses and equipment are out there, so he is always in the know.
This magazine subscription is well worth the money. For less than $20, I was able to get him a two year subscription. And with all the great advice, tips, articles, photos, and songs that are in the magazine, I would say it is well worth that money. Any bass player would be happy with this magazine subscription.
