This an excellent price guide and probably the choice
among most avid basketball card collecting enthusiasts.
While basketball card collecting has not reached level of
baseball card collecting it is reaching certain levels.
With my busy schedule, basketball card collecting is indeed
therapeutic and provides a nice break from boring,
laborious work.
What's this magazine all about?
Well, with all the basketball cards out there, it was a necessity to try and establish and value for them. Especially for those wanting to consider cards as an
investment. I've bought several jersey cards of named players as well as autographs with hopes that they may
rise later in value. Currently the card collecting
hobby is at its heights. So many different collections
so many different designs. It's absolutely amazing and
these cards promotes the love of the game.
What information does the magazine provide?
Besides listing prices. The guide has informative
articles that detail the latest trends in basketball
card collecting. For instance, with Charles Barkley
considering a possible comeback, there is avid
speculation as to whether or not his cards will
rise or decline in value. Certainly those cards
dedicating his retirement may effect the value
of his cards. I love the insights into rookie cards
which may rise 10-20 fold depending on how well
the player performs in the future. The magazine
gives you an edge and appropriate investment advice.
