captainjack's Full Review: ESPN Magazine Subscription
I have been a subscriber to ESPN the magazine since the beginning and have been extremely pleased with the product so far. It covers everything from archery to wrestling and does it in different and interesting ways. Some articles are "behind the scenes" and stray away from the athletic side of sports while others, such as "In the Crosshairs," are very focused and detailed. There is alot of humor mixed into the magazine, much the same way it is on Sportscenter. The oversized format allows for some outstanding photos, the two best that I can remember being Michael Jordan's game winning shot against the Jazz in the finals and Mark McGwire's record breaking home run shot. The only negative for a crazy sports fan such as myself is that the magazine comes out every other week instead of weekly, but it packs more than enough info. for the average fan. The price is also a plus, only $2.99 on the newstand and as low as a $1.00 an issue for subscribers.
