For a New Zealand gardener the only 'con' about this magazine is the information on plant damage caused by deer and burrowing animals which is mainly irrelevant to us.
The photography is superb. The articles are very informative and often inspirational. The practical tips are always sensible and well thought out.
Praiseworthy plants gives information not always found in common garden dictionaries. The book reviews are always worth reading, and even the garden related advertising is worth a glance!
Taunton's Fine Gardening is rather expensive though. Here in New Zealand it costs around $NZ17 (in the U.S $US5.95) because of our weak currency, but it is money well spent. Unlike regular garden magazines Fine Gardening is well worth keeping and I thoroughly recommend it.
