Fortean Times is my favorite magazine. If you are amused by strange phenomena like UFO sitings, unusual births, or world oddities, this magazine is for you. It tries to be objective and present both sides of an issue, discussing why the reader should and shouldn't believe whether the strange event actually occurred. Personally, I read this magazine for laughs, and not to learn the truth about alien invasions and such.
The last issue I read had a story about three Hell's Angels who went to a tattoo parlor to get "Satan's Slave" tattooed on their arms. The artist misunderstood, and tattooed "Stan's Slave," instead. The three Hell's Angels are now taking out a law suit against the artist. I thought this was hilarious. If you think that kind of things is funny, then you should definitely read Fortean Times.
My only problem with the magazine is that although it attempts to be objective, sometimes it fails. I just don't believe some of the things I read. And it is a bit hard to find on newsstands in the United States, which is why I subscribe.
