i started reading this magazine after i saw the movie the first time about ten years ago--when i was about 17-18 years old. I've never seen another comic/adventure magazine like Heavy Metal. I've talked to several friends that really like it too.
The artistry and pictures in this magazine are outstanding. it's not like a regular comic book because the humor in it is something that has to be found from deep inside you. You have to understand dry humor and the underlying messages. My parents taught me that dry humor can be some of the funniest stuff if you make the effort to understand.
I haven't been able to buy the magazine for about a year now, and I had no idea that I could find it online till a co-worker gave me his video of the movie. As the opening pictures rolled through, i heard a message that the info could be found on www.sony.com. I was excited and ran straight to my computer.
I have found what i need to know and plan to subscribe to the magazine as soon as possible. thanks for reading--nmantis5
