This magazine claims to want to help girls express themselves in creative, positive ways, and help them stand out from the mainstream while still retaining self-confidence, pride and dignity. Guess what? It succeeds!
You still find your average, run-of-the-mill makeup, style and clothing guides and reviews, but underneath the surfaceobsession with appearance is a layer of articles, reviews and ideas that provoke thought and present a positive, enlightened view of the world. there's negative pages denouncing bad ideas, stories from real-life girls who've survived or accomplished the incredible, or he impossible- there are a thousand facts on the bottom of each page which alone spark creative fire.
Know a budding artist or teen scene queen? Give them a "Jump" and watch them jump for joy.
