| Scullymg's Full Review: Jump Magazine |
Jump came in mail as a free subscription. Thank God. I would not have paid for it if I was obligated to... The magazine is clear-cut straight from Seventeen, Teen, and YM.. The only difference is the once every 20 pages "Dare to be Real" booster. You know what I mean.. The page that has the "girls can do anything" attitude. Now, that might be a good idea to include, but if you're going to call yourself the magazine for real girls, you should include more articles that girls would love to read. It seems like magazines these days always deal with how to get "boys" and how to look "pretty" and I believe Jump has sneaked that message inside the magazine without being obvious. A smart move for a new magazine, but not very moral.
