Great magazine!

Pros: Original and unique ideas that anyone can do.
Cons: Too many Baby Gap ads spread out...they should have their own section of the mag.
The Bottom Line: This is a great magazine filled with fresh ideas and good advice for moms, experienced and new.

I am a new mother and I think Martha Stewart is a creative genius so of coarse I had to get the magazine!! I love this magazine it is filled with wonderful ideas that only she can come up with.
Martha presents wonderful ideas and things even I can do.
I especially like the nursery ideas. The nursery themes she comes up with are fresh and adorable and not those that everyone has! She also gives you creative things you can do with you baby. For example she suggest coloring eggs yourself or maybe having an older sibling do it and then your baby can help by providing finger print dots for the decor! I think that is just precious and a creative way to include everyone!!! This magazine also includes cute ideas for parties and yummy foods you can cook for your baby. If you want to go that route.....personally I choose to buy baby food but plan to try the recipes soon :)!!
I have found this magazine to be very helpful as a new mom because there are checklist telling you what you'll need for your baby and creative ways to bring it all together. In this particular issue she gives you ideas about the changing table!! I used this checklist to get my babies change table together....and thank god for this magazine because sometimes as a new mom there are things people just don't tell you you'll need!!! I won't say what so I can keep some pride, but you new moms know what I'm talking about :).
The articles in this magazine are helpful and I always find them interesting and helpful. These may be better for first moms just because sometimes they are about things experienced moms will already know about...like swaddling you baby and cravings you may expect to have. However, there are interesting ones for experienced moms also. I really like her articles because they teach you something and they aren't too long so they keep you interested.
Now we get to my favorite part...the clothes! I had a boy first and I have found some of the most darling clothes ideas!! I now have a little girl and the clothing ideas are precious. Martha tells you how to make one of the most adorable little pillowcase dresses! It's so cute my little boy just may have to try one :) his dad would love that!!!! There are also bib ideas that are great which you can make yourself, I think that's sweet because then it makes it more personal. However, if you don't want to make clothes there are baby gap adds all through the magazine, and you know they are precious!! This brings me to my only complaint...there are so many of the baby gap adds that I wish they would just put them all together in their own section instead of spreading them out.
I love this magazine and I find it to be more entertaining to look at then the other baby magazines, just because I like Martha Stewart and her ideas are better in my opinion. I find this magazine to be helpful and entertaining, I would recommend this magazine to anyone looking for baby ideas, and especially for first time moms!! I am a subscriber to this magazine but I'm sure you can find it everywhere...especially at K-Mart.
