dajalyn's Full Review: Outside Magazine Subscription
I've been an Outside reader since it's inception but I have seen this valuable resource turn one-hundred and eighty degrees from the esoteric adventure rag it was to the product-pushing catalogue it's become. Tim Cahill and Ed Abbey, can't you get this magazine back on course? I really don't care about gear reviews. I enjoy those quirky articles about strange characters in far-off places. There's still a jewel in every issue but usually not more. The 'gear-specific' issues are the worst, unless it's gear you are just about to purchase. I like the stories and when they're in Outside, they're some of the best writing available.
