This is a great magazine for an avid fan of soap operas. I have been reading it on and off since 1988! The reason being I've been watching soaps on and off since then. I went on hiatus for a bit and went back to watching my favorite Days of Our Lives in 1997 and Soap Opera Digest helped me try to piece what I missed in the last few years. They do this by having special articles or features like best couple, most out rageous storyline etc.

But in addition to extra stories, they have a weekly synopsis of what went on your show, what will happen. Who is coming or going. Articles on the stars and their personal life and now they even have a fashion section where they rate the actors clothes!

And best of all it's this cute little magazine you can easily tote around in your bag and is all in color! Every page! It was still part black and white back when I first started reading it! So this was a refreshing change.
