Sport magazine is not a very good magazine for general sports, but it actually has quality NBA coverage.
In general, Sport magazine pretty much sucks. They will occasionally come out with lists of best players in the NFL or MLB or whatvever, and their lists are all screwed up (i.e. Bobby Bonilla ahead of Alex Rodriguez....?). It seems as if they think this type of 'incendiary' prediction will make people want to buy more magazines. Nope, they're wrong. I received Sport as a gift, and don't really read it for much of anything at all (although ocasionally they will have some attractive females in it's pages).
Sport actually has some ligitimate NBA coverage, with a good article here and there.
The biggest problem with Sport is the timing of its information. When you read it, you feel as if everything in it is several months old. They came out with the NFL preview a week after the NFL started......Also, they have a bunch of pictures in the beginning (much like SI does), but they are mostly around 6-8 months old....
I much prefer SI, and I even think ESPN Magazine is better (I reviewed both of these too)
