all of the concepts covered in SCC will all translate to VWs. Also, the slant is towards Honda, but they cover a very wide variety of cars from DSMs, to Toyotas, to Mazda even. I have to wonder how many you actually read cover to cover, but none-the-less, good review.
BTW, without ads, no magazine can go on, it is a necessary evil that allows enthusiasts like myself to find out who has which product.

Ever think that Japanese SCCs are just better? That might be why they devoted more time to them. There are also more of them. If you look at the rally section in the magazine you will see that Japanese cars dominate the field. You can go drive around your air cooled piece of garbage all you want. Stop crying when the only press they get is from VW mags. They are over priced and under powered. The GTi mightbe the first but it isn't the best.

Yes, there are many VW magazines. But they state on the cover what they are about. The issue you mention featured German cars, not VW's, and still they managed to fit articles about the Z and other japanese cars in; it wasn't 'devoted' to anything. I'd like to either see the magazine called what it is or feature compacts in a non-biased way.
Yes, the magazine gives lots of good advice, but only to people who own japanese cars that have more show than go.

You are just mad because they don't give your precious VWs the media you think they deserve. Might that be because there are already 8000 VW mags who deal exclusively with VWs? If you remember a few months ago when they devoted an entire issue to your VWs. They also have been giving the Neon a lot of press as of late. I will agree that they are heavily slanted toward Japanese cars, but might that not be because they are better on the whole. They are cheaper and there is more of an industry set up to build and supply after market parts. Not all the articles are about Hondas and when they are it is usually about what after market parts are better and why. I agree that there are way too many adds, and the variety of the articles could be increased. But I am happy with the way things are going.
