| laweiler1's Full Review: Sports Cards Magazine & Price Guide |
I am your average collector of sport cards. We as a family enjoy going to card shows at malls and area merchants on weekend. Collecting for us is a hobby. I haven't sold any (even though it's tempting sometimes) but I do enjoy finding out there values and conditions and what is "HOT" to collect every month.
Sports Cards Magazine and Price Guide offers a variety of information for all collectors. The magazine includes Baseball, Basketball, Football (this would be my favorite!), Racing and Hockey. It also has information on Autographs and Certified card materials.
Each month they have what is called a TOP TEN Lists on all the above categories. This is information that collectors want to know. These are what everyone (card collectors) either have or want to have. They even have an Entertainment Top Ten list that covers Star Trek, Blair Witch Project and other non-Sport related areas.
I enjoy the Inside scoop column. This is a column written to find out different manufacturers and new items coming out in months or weeks ahead. The other column I enjoy is the Show report. It shows the national convention information (never been able to attend, but hopefully one day) and other TOP shows in the United States.
Overall I believe this is a very high rated Sports Card magazine. Is it a Beckett, well no it's not, but it's just as useful and just as entertaining.
