lcoffiejr's Full Review: Sports Illustrated for Kids Magazine
We received three free copies of sports illustrated for kids. I was looking up scores on sportsline.com and saw the offer. My daughter is almost seven and she loves to receive mail, so I thought why not. I receive sports illustrated myself, so I know a lot about the magazine. I read the sports illustrated for kids myself, to see what it was all about. I like it better than the regular sports illustrated. It has great stories about players. team reports, previews, predictions, and of course bonuses for kids. For example November 2002 has a free poster of Jason Kidd and free tear out baseball cards. WE all know the baseball cards are not worth anything. But this is perfect for little children. They like the cards of the players and my girl could care less how much they are worth. I do think the $3.50 price tag per magazine is a little steep for a magazine for children. My daughter likes looking through the magazine at the pictures and sometimes ask me questions about the players. And of course, asks me about the expensive over advertised video games in every issue. All in all a good magazine.
