Pros: great layout, color photos, interviews

Cons: too much snowboarding

strength is a pretty fresh mag that comes out of the midwest somewhere (ohio i believe.) i am a skateboarder, and i particularly like the first half of the magazine. the skateboarding contributors are on top of their game, providing competition to the "big two" skate mags. great color photos, interviews with the top pros and amateurs, and all of the news and gossip about the skateboarding world you could want. the other half is fair, comprised of music and snowboarding stuff. i figure if you want record reviews, you could buy a rolling stone, and if you want to hear about snowboarding, you could ask just about anybody. still, a great layout, and in depth information. one other column that i like contains questions addressed to porno stars about love, sex, etc., a la loveline on mtv. thrasher is still number one in my book, but strength is definately givin them a run for their money.
