First off, I think that Super Street is a very well rounded magazine. It has tech tips, news, new products, a fair share of articles, and many other features.
Main features - Super Street offers alot of full length articles, on subjects like a 4-door turbo type-R to a 4th generation accord coupe. The magazine focuses mostly on Japanese imports, but does throw in some american stuff like a page or two on the ford focus. My issue is the March 2000 one; the cover car being the type-R I mentioned. The main article on the cover car includes alot of info: specs, where the custom work was done, and alot of nice pictures. The rest of the larger articles are on this same level of quality, which a seasoned enthusiast to a clueless freshie can appreciate.
Reviews, Departments, etc. - Along with the main articles, Super Street features heads-up on new products, tech Q&A, events, and import news. Though even I am a freshie in the import game, I still like reading the departments and mildly gawking at all of the sweet cars, dreaming of the time when I'll have enough money to do that to my ride. But for now, it's stock all the way for me.
Bonuses - What really impressed me about Super Street was the number of specials and bonus articles it had. With my issue, I got a rim guide, with 10 pages of different wheels and 6 cars to match the, with. On top of that, I got a bonus suspension tech section evaluating lowering techniques.
So, in conclusion, if you want a magazine that covers almost everything about imports and is very affordable ($3.50) get going and hook yourself up with the latest issue of Super Street!
