| mac73inc's Full Review: USA TODAY Baseball Weekly Magazine |
My first thoughts when I opened up this magazine were that it would be full of interesting information, great camera shots, and important insight. Wow, was I wrong! First of all, for the moderate fan, Baseball Weekly contains way too much unusefull info: half of the magazine contains scores and stats from a week ago. The minor league statistics page is full of statistics that are handy to only the hard to find hardcore minor league baseball fan. Although the cover appeals to the moderate fan, the articles are written at a third grade level. The fantasy baseball pages are okay, but they supply the reader with just enough information to by with.
For $29.95 a year, Baseball Weekly supplies the reader with information that can be found in a daily newspaper. The only good thing about the magazine is that it is made out of newspaper, makng it easy to recycle when you throw it out.
