Freshmen Magazine is monthly magazine that offers a collection of sexy photo shoots that feature younger, college age male models, along with some basic editorial content. If you like pictures of naked college aged men or have that hots for that frat boy and want to see what's in his pants then Freshmen is for you.
What do I get with Freshmen?
Published 12 times a year (once a month), a one year subscription to Freshmen will cost you $39.99. With a two-year subscription you will save yourself ten bucks, as it is only $70. A single issue on the newsstand is $7.99. The costs for a single issue or a subscription are high, like most porn and skin magazines, but if you want your porn, youre probably willing to pay for it. If you get a subscription (either 1 or 2 year) you will get a CD-Rom full of x-rated images from past issues of the magazine.
Models used in the Freshmen magazine are generally younger gay porn stars and some younger unknowns that are making their debut in the magazine. Freshmen tries to provide and present a diversity of younger guys throughout its pages. The men are not all the cookie-cutter porn stars that you might expect there are smooth guys, hairy guys, muscled guys, jocks, frat boys, the guy next door, and more. Anyone with any taste in younger men should find something to enjoy in Freshmen magazine.
Each issue of Freshmen focuses on a different groups of younger guys. The images are generally of one model at a time, but there are a few couples included at times, but not too often. The spreads include full nudity and sometimes, some sexual scenes, but no hardcore sexually explicit images, as is the case with most magazines like this. Most issues have six to seven different photo shoots, depending upon the number of photos in a single shoot.
In addition to the photo spreads, Freshmen offers a few other editorial sections that are generally all related to sex, but that can be entertaining and interesting to read. These include erotic fiction stories, occasional reviews of gay porn movies, and the more generic magazine sections like a letter from the Editor and a chance for readers to right in letters to the Editor.
Freshmen offers a full-service website at www.freshmen.com where you can subscribe to the magazine, buy back issues, review some information from the current issue or manage your subscription should you already have one. The pictures on the web are tamer and generally g to r rated (mostly PG), as opposed to the actual magazine where everything hangs out. Freshmen.Com also offers a members only section (thats in addition to the magazine subscription price) that offers exclusive content and other benefits that add to the what you already find in Freshmen.
Is Freshmen worth buying?
There are plenty of enjoyable photographs and stories that relate to sex in Freshmen magazine. However, Freshmen doesnt make any bones about it the magazine is really just about sexy pictures and sexy content. And you know what, theres really nothing wrong with such a sexy look most people should be so open about what they like.
I pick up an issue here and there Ive never subscribed to the magazine but then again I dont want a house full of porn magazines either.
From the same people who publish other gay magazines like Unzipped, Men and , I am just glad that there are magazines out there that while clearly meant to excite and turn us on, enjoy showing off the male body.
My Final Take
Freshmen is no more expensive than most other porno magazines - Freshmen is for readers looking more for hot pictures of younger, college age men. It is all about hot guys and sex and any reader looking for this, would be well served with a subscription to this magazine.
