Pros:cute, inexpensive, nice long cord.
Cons:Not for earphone snobs.
The Bottom Line: Good pair for teens or kids.
My ear buds had been disappearing a while. I knew who the culprit was, and for Christmas I decided to get them the Maxell 19055 Ear Buds. They were so cute, they were M&Ms! I bought these via Amazon.com and I think I paid around $7 for them. I didn't want to get anything too expensive for sake of losing them. These came in several colors, but I chose the green.
These earbuds on the outside look just like M&Ms, and they are labeled with an L and an R for left and right. There are also some small black rubber adaptors you can put onto them if they don't fit your ears just right. These are pretty easy to put on and I was afraid that they were going to pop off every time you removed the buds from your ears, but they do shift a tad bit but haven't had any trouble with them coming off.
These have the following specs: Impedance: 16 ohms +/- 10% Drivers: 9.3mm Magnet: Neodymium Sensitivity: 100dB @ 1kHz Maximum Input: 5 mW Frequency Response: 16-24,000 Hz Plug: 3.5 mm straight plug Cord Length: 4 ft
What's good about these is that it has a nice long cord on them. Also, since these are green, it's hard to lose them too! As far as sound goes, don't expect a whole lot of bass in them. I used these a couple of times and they were pretty decent, but I like a bit more bass in mine. Other than that, pretty good set for $7, not to mention they are really cute, hard to lose since they're green, and they have a nice long cord to them. This would be great for kids or teenagers, but for those of us with more refined taste in headphones, these might be a tad too much of a novelty and wouldn't provide superior sound you're looking for. I would recommend them just to have around though, we've experienced no problems with these.
