Pros: great for playing kinect w/family + friends. ok for a bit of casual gaming
Cons: low amount of storage space, makes it run a little slow when almost full
Xbox 360 4GB + Kinect review
I recently bought one of these to use with family and friends. When I first got it, I mainly used it for Kinect games which didn’t use up much space. when I started getting into games like battlefield 3 and halo reach, I realised that I was starting to run out of space because I was downloading so many DLC's, map packs and user created content. If you are looking to buy this for hard-core gaming, then don’t because you will run out of space very quickly. However if you just want to play with friends and family, then this is right for you. However I would still suggest buying a 20GB hard drive for it as that was what I did. I would suggest for you to buy the 250GB version if you do not want to spend the extra money for a hard drive.
The Kinect was an amazing experience with family and friends but I did encounter some moments where it wouldn’t respond to the movements that in was making, but that is only a minor issue and can be fixed by downloading a patch that Microsoft put out. Also there was slight lag between what I did and the actions on the screen. Again that can be fixed with a patch.
