Wow--Yardmarkers At Only 4 Times The Price!

Pros:Good Concept--Highly Effective--Good Build Quality
Cons:So over-priced it is ridiculous!
The Bottom Line: Go to Home Depot, Lowe's, or the hardware store of your choice and buy the same thing for 12 Cents on the dollar.

Really---$19.95 for Yardmarkers?

Please don't take my sarcasm the wrong way here. I think using yardmarkers as alignment tools for your golf swing is a great idea. You set them down on the ground, aimed at your chosen target. Then you set up so that your stance is aligned with the stick, the ball is in the proper part of your stance, and then swing away. If you miss drastically left or right, you can take an educated guess as to what your swing fault du jour might actually be. Mis-alignment at adress is, after all, one of the bigget factors in missed shots amongst amateurs.

Yes We Really Need Alignment Aids---BUT---

For years pros have told us to lay a club down at our feet and use it in this fashion. Trouble is, stomping all over our expensive clubs isn't such a great idea. (Though chunking them into the pond after hitting another  ball into the drink has oft times crossed my mind.) When these first came out--I was intrigued, and almost took the bait. Seriously folks!---The infomercial had me going gangbusters for my credit card. But then a strong sense of reality, and a vague sense of memory kicked in. I had seen almost the exact same stick sold somewhere else for much less than that magical number of "ONLY $19.95." Where was it, and what were they called?

So Get These Instead

Oh yeah. I was at Lowe's, or was it Home Depot. They weren't called "Tour Sticks" or "Alignent Rods." They were called "Yardmarkers." Not only were they less than ---"ONLY $19.95-----they were able to be had at the bargain basement price of only $2.50. Do yourself a favour. Go out and buy some of these at Home Depot, or Lowe's, or some such similar hardware store, and use them on the range. They won't be quite as snazzy lookin' as the other guy's--but for twelve and a half cents on the dollar--who cares? They work just as well. Besides, at these prices you can call them whatever you want. I prefer to call the yardmarkers a great idea at a great price.
