When people come to visit, many visitors enjoy a cup of coffee!  Since I don't drink coffee on a regular basis, I needed something, so I could at least offer a cup of coffee.  

I looked through my local department stores, and most of the coffee makers are either so expensive, or too big, or have too many features on them.  

I just wanted a small coffee maker, that I could make a decent cup of coffee if someone wanted one.  Finally I came across, Mr. Coffee TF6, this was perfect.  Plus it was on sale for $12.99, I could handle that. 

Mr Coffee TF6, is just the right size, it makes up to 5 cups of coffee, and it is simple to operate.  It also has a very small footprint, freeing up valuable counter space for me.  

Mr Coffee TF6, has a cute little coffee pot, and is very easy to make the coffee.  You just lift up the the top, and inside is a coffee filter, bucket.  You don't even need to add an extra coffee filter, unless you want to. It is very simple just put your coffee ino the bucket filter, and then fill your pot with water up to as many cups you want to make, and pour it in over the coffee grounds.  Then all you do is put the empty coffee pot back on the maker, and press the button.  

As the water steeps through the coffee in the filter, picking up all the flavor and color, it is heated, instantly.   The finished coffee just flows into the pot, you can wait until it is all finished and the pot is full, or if you are in a hurry, you can just pour a cup of coffee from what has come down into your Mr. Coffee TF6, using the pause and pour feature. 

When you pull the pot out to pour a cup of coffee, there is a stopper, which goes over the opening, and pauses the making of more coffee, until you put the coffee pot back on the Mr. Coffee TF6, then it automatically continues making the rest of the nice coffee.  

Not only does my new  Mr. Coffee TF6 make delicious coffee in just a few minutes, I can make tea, or even just make hot water, for my oatmeal.  

This is the feature I would use more often.  All I need to do, is to fill the  Mr. Coffee TF6 with water, and turn on my  Mr. Coffee TF6 in less than 5 or more minutes, I have a pot of hot water, which I can use to make my instant oatmeal, or even an instant cup of soup.  

I prefer to make my oatmeal, and cup of soup this way, because it is ready when I am ready, rather than waiting for the microwave to go around and round, and then when it is done, many times, it is way too hot for  me to eat right then.  But the water in  Mr. Coffee TF6, is just hot enough, but not scalding.  Plus there is more water, keeping hot, for as long as I need it, until I turn it off, in case I want some hot chocolate, tea, or something else.  

I can set my  Mr. Coffee TF6 up the night before, if I have somewhere to go in the morning.  When I get up,  all I have to do, is press the button,   then I will just go take my shower and get ready.   When I come into my kitchen, either coffee, or hot water, which ever I have chosen, is ready for me to make my breakfast and go out the door.  

The only draw back with my Mr. Coffee TF6, in comparison to the more advanced coffee makers, is that I have to remember to shut off my  Mr. Coffee TF6  button, when I leave.   My other coffee maker I had, which was a Mr. Coffee, also, but it had much more features and held up to 12 cups of coffee.  The feature I miss the most, is that it automatically shut off after a certain amount of time, so I did get rather spoiled with that feature.  But, this is fine, I will just place a post it note on my Mr. Coffee TF6  that reminds me to shut it off.  Problem solved!!  

What I love to do with coffee, is to fill my mug, half full of coffee, then add a packet of instant hot chocolate, and then add a half of milk.  Then I have a nice warm mocha drink.  

The other thing I like to do with the coffee, if there is some left over, is to add it to some regular canned frosting, making a coffee, frosting to go over a nice chocolate cake.  ummmm.  

So I am very happy with my Mr. Coffee TF6, it is just the perfect size for one person.  Also, perfect for company, if someone comes over who wants a cup of coffee.  

If there were more than one other person, it isn't any problem to make two pots of coffee, and pour the first pot off into a thermal coffee pot, so then I have plenty of coffee to go around.   But that happens so rarely at my house, that it wouldn't make sense for me to get the larger size Mr. Coffee.
