About 8 years ago a friend of mine introduced me to ENYA. As a country music lover I didn't know that I could find such pleasure in music of this nature but ENYA had definately won me over.
This music is great for relaxing. You can pop it into the CD player in the car and find your troubles slowly melting away. The Celtic verse and music will uplift your spirits and unwind your soal.
Shepard Moon is the title of the album I choose to listen to on a regular basis. Even my husband who is a "Bob-n-Tom", Hard rock listener finds that this music is a wonderful addition to his listening pleasure. Another positive being that it is gauranteed to show your baby to slumber both traveling in the car or in his/her crib.
The album is graced with 12 songs all of which are wonderful to listen to. My favorite of these songs is "How can I keep from Singing" The words in this song are truely inspiring and although your too busy enjoying the tune to truley understand the meaning behind the song, it doesn't matter as this womans voice will take you to a high plane of relaxation.

These songs are a mix of simply instrumental, English folk and Celtic pride. Some of them have nothing buy music and some have words that most of us can actually recognize while others are in a language of the Celtics and although not understandable to me, simply beautiful.
I like to unwind by lighting a bunch of candles, popping in the Enya and laying back. Listening to this album has if nothing else saved my sanity at times. It's a wonderful addition to any listening choice.
The album was released in 1991 by Reprise Records and the Time Warner Company. Produced by Nicky Ryan and sung by Enya. You can find this album at any store that sells music, I got my copy at Wal-Mart.
