I was first introduced to Enya by my high school art teacher, who would play this CD at least once a week because he was certain that it would stimulate our creative output. I must admit that the first time I heard the CD, I did not like it very much. Then I listened to it again, and again, and then I started to like it. See, I was used to listening to more alternative forms of music and this new-age sound took me a while to get used to. Once I became familiar with the distinct sound, I couldn't get enough of it.
Every song tells a story. You can find a small part of yourself in the songs - and that's what makes art great. Now, whenever I am feeling stressed, angry, or I need to write a report for school, I listen to this CD, and it improves my mood considerably. Buy this CD, and if you're not used to the distinct sound of the genra, give it another chance before you disregard it. I highly recommend this album to everyone who can appreciate true music.
