Crude, beautiful and raw. If I had to pick three words for this album, those would be it. This is probably the greatest debut album ever. It has something for everyone. If you want the love song/ballady stuff, there's the classic Sweet Child O Mine, or Think About You. Think About You is actually a sweeter song lyrically than Sweet Child, but Sweet Child has that gorgeous guitar work. If you want the rough, mean, punk stuff there's the rest of the album. My personal favorite is Rocket Queen, but there are so many great songs to choose from that you'll find one (or more!) Axl and the guys do such a great job on this. It's timeless and ageless. Just a bunch of rockers from LA who had everything to prove and nothing to lose.
