The 'Ryche (Reply to this comment)
by fm_hunter
While I enjoy this album, is rather felt like the commercialization of a great band had finally occurred. Still, even commercial Queensryche surpasses most other rock bands. Shamefully, lead guitarist and primary song writer Chris DeGarma soon left the band after this release, and his absence is noticed in subsequent Queensryche releases. Excellent review!

Not an Operation Mindcrime . . . (Reply to this comment)

. . . but then, what is? (~;
As i've grown older, i've come to enjoy this one even more . . . there was a time when i'd just flat out skip over Della Brown . . . but nowadays i listen to it depending on my mood. However, Hand on Heart and One and Only still seem like fillers while i wait for Anybody Listening?, another classic insightful Queensr˙che closing song.
Hrm. It kinda irks to see the 'R˙che being thrown in with Zomboni, but then, you also mentioned Queen and Rush, another pair of my favorites. i'd also add the classic Iron Maiden, specially in their earlier work . . . Dickinson and Tate are two of my favorite rock voxes.
i thank you for writing about this one . . . and if I don't return to sing no more, maybe just as well. i've seen the news and there's not much that I can do . . . alone.
'R˙che on Shelly! t-ŝoo
