I actually haven't heard 10,000 Maniacs's version, I'll have to check it out.

Patti Smith is wonderful, isn't she?

A favourite of mine.. and this is possibly one of favourites of hers. As for "Because the Night", I think I'm more biased towards 10,000 Maniacs' version than Spingsteen's.

At any rate, nice review Jordan!
