| cinderella730's Full Review: Tin Man [Single] by Kenny Chesney |
First of all, I have to say that I LOVE Kenny Chesney!! His music, his voice....and he's not too bad to look at either!
I remember I first was intrigued by this song, because my mom has always loved "The Wizard of OZ" and she was going through a hard time, the song was perfect at the time.....
now that I'm going through a divorce, I find myself playing the same song...but this time, for me.
This is good for someone who has been hurt by someone that they love. Keep in mind that it's not good if you want to "get over it" it's kind of a "wallow in my sadness" song. Here's a sample of the lyrics:
"Some man in the movies, that didn't have a heart, how I wish I could give him mine. Then I wouldn't have to feel it breaking all apart, and this emptiness inside would suit me fine. It's times like these, I wish I were the tin man, you could hurt me all you wanted, I would never even know. I'd give anything, just to be the tin man...I wouldn't have a heart, and I wouldn't need a soul."
The song is a beautiful song, lyrically and musically. It's kinda catchy, so be prepared to sing it over and over the next few days.
You can find this song on the "all I need to know" album.
