This is a great album, with a mix of slower, faster and in between songs. There are soft ones, loud ones, and ones you just can't stop listening too. A couple of the songs are even in half Spanish.

This album starts with a mezmerising sound of a dog barking, some disc scratching and mumbling, but it turns into a slow paced, simple song, called "Waiting For My Ruca." I believe this song is about one of Bradley's ex's or it could be fictional
The next highlight song, is the album track, 40 Oz. To Freedom, a powerful ska song with great lyrics and it seems to have a meaning behind it.
The next classic songs is about "Smoke To Joints" which is great because of its face tempo and good lyrics. The lyrics aren't as powerful and meaningful as the other songs the instrumentals stay strong and its one of the catchiest songs on this album, plus its funny.
Another of my favorites is "We're Only Gonna Die For Our Own Arrogance." This song has a more punk feeling than the songs before it and it tells more of a story than the others do.
The next song I like is "Don't Push" also tells a story and it is one of Sublime's more 'intelligent' reggae songs.
Next up is "5446/Ball and Chain." The first half of this song is "54-46 That's My Number." The second half is "Ball And Chain" and I think they are both social commentaries of the American Dream.
Are you a Badfish too? The next one is "Badfish" is a great catchy, simple, acoustic reggae song, which is defiantly a highlight of this album.
Coming up is "Scarlet Begonias." Scarlet Begonias is a story/song about Bradley meeting a girl and selling drugs together, sounds romantic huh?
Up next is "Ebin", it can only be described as 'Sublimey' and is about a friend who becomes part of the KKK and changes his beliefs almost every week.
Possibly my favorite song on the album "Date Rape." Tells a complete saga of a date rape, starting at a bar and ending at a jail and has possibly one of the best Saxophone solos ever.
The album ends with "Thanks Dub" which is a rather long song thanking everyone who helped make this album popular. I don't think that this song is necessarily but they were selling this album from the trunk of their car, so I think the least they could do was have some thanks to all the people who made it happen.
This album is very much worth buying, and if you don't already have it, go get it. Oh, and folks remember, this is the only album where the lead singer, Bradley, isn't on heroin so this is the only album where his true brilliance shows.
