Erm, is this a Coil review?
I love em too. Love's Secret Domain is one of my all-time favorites. I never should have sold my TVT Black Box. Of course, what I should do is just suck it up and buy the album.
Back to the subject, nice summation of an overhyped disc.

I actually own this album, but I remember being disappointed with it after I bought it, and I think it's been years since it left the shelf. perhaps I'll try and pull it out to see if I missed something the first go 'round.

Firmly in agreeance (ooh, stupid Limp Bizkit reference) with Shilmafone, Coil does, in fact, kick massive butt. Fondness for the work on this EP marks you as highly likely to enjoy their work. Maybe someday we can get you to Skinny Puppy.....

Glad you liked "The Bottom", some of those sounds are actually recycled from one of Coil's own tracks, a little ditty entitled "First Dark Ride"--available on "Unnatural History, Vol. 3" if you're interested in dropping a few extra bucks for an import. It's actually a pretty good starting spot for those interested in Coil.
The Eraser mixes always disappointed me a little (though I like the Polite version quite a bit)--they just don't exude the amount of complexity I've grown accustomed to from Coil. But hey, I'm probably just being picky.
Anyway, excellent, excellent job with this review--of course, that's easy for me to say when I agree with so much of it. :)
