I was quite content with Rubinstein's take on Tchaikovsky's 1st and then I read your review and decided to give Argenrich a try. Boy, am I won over! A marvelous CD this is. Thanks so much!!

to dig out my old Marta Argerich CDs (do I have this one, I wonder). I can even hear the music based on your descriptions. Great job! If I don't have this CD, I will definitely be getting it.

What does it for me is Orff's "Carmina Burana". Also Debussy, Ravel and Berlioz. I think this sounds like something I would enjoy. Great review! Thanks.
