annandale's Full Review: Empty by God Lives Underwater
This is an absolutely stunning album. I have enjoyed every song on it. The sound God Lives Underwater creates is different from anything else on the market. I bought this album on a whim, because I was drawn by the cover graphic and had recently heard their song "From Your Mouth" on the radio. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that, unlike many bands, this album is strong the whole way through. I have never, in all of the times I have listened to this album, felt the need to skip over any particular song because none of their songs get old. An important note about this band: it is not for all! The music can, I have found, be a little too much for certain types of people. These are mainly the people who listen to boy bands and the like; country music, soft rock, etc. Leave if you are one of those people. Run away. Now. Everybody else should go get this album! This is a band for fans of bands like Machines of Loving Grace or Nine Inch Nails.
