I think you're trying to say Jonny Polonsky can't slap together a decent pop song. You have omitted any indication of that in the beginning. Still, thanks for sharing.

I was baffled at the hype surrounding Polonsky when this came out (I mean, even Frank Black was heading into has-been-land by 1996), although I still have my copy of it... if for nothing else than "Love Lovely Love", which I still... y'know, love. I never really got past that one though...
