michaelw's Full Review: Life Love & Other Mysteries by Point of Grace
I read the review of this album by "altosaxgirl" while she didn't care for the "POP" part of this album it was the part that I throughly enjoyed. By the same token she liked the "worship" part of the album; that was the part I didn't care for.
Especially in light of two teenage girls that I have; I'm busy trying to find them alternatives to the "crud" that plays on the typical radio stations. This IS an alternative.
The ladies harmonize beautifully. The tunes have enough up beat to keep the CD lively and interesting. The use of strings on some of the songs is done quite tastefully. On other songs they add horns. The producer has really spiced up this CD.
Lets add in the fact that the songs praise the Lord and we have a winning combination. I look forward to their next CD.
