eatmor's Full Review: Caedmon's Call by Caedmon's Call
This is my only "Christian" cd that I own because I rarely find a song that I strongly identify with. I don't buy many cd's because usually I only want to hear one or two songs on the cd. However, "Caedmon's Call"'s cd Caedmon's Call is an excellent cd of 12 great songs. It is rare to find a cd that you can listen to straight through. Just as much so, it is rare to find a cd with five or six songs that mean so much. For me that is what is so great about this cd.
This cd is very vocal. I can very easily identify with many of the straight from the heart messages found within these songs. Also, these songs are so enjoyable, I find myself not being able to help singing along. Some of my favorite songs found on this cd include:
"This World"--I love the dueling vocals found in this song supported with fitting accompaniment all backed with a powerful message about this world. This would be my favorite song. My other favorites are "Bus Driver", "Hope to Carry On", "Lead of Love", "Not Enough", and "Coming Home."
Furthermore, something I quickly noticed about this loaded cd, the songs are of good length. The twelve songs add up to 54 minutes and 35 seconds of great music which averages about 4 minutes and 30 seconds a song. As mentioned earlier, you can easily listen straight through this cd. This cd amounts to over 54 minutes of great songs that you can enjoy singing along with and that build you up because of the wonderful messages found within the songs.
